From the newer tools, very fast is growing the GIS.XL. The GIS.XL is an add-in for spatial data analysis and visualization in Excel. In the last year was updated to 2.0 version. This release has brought many novelties and improvements. The most important ones are shown in the following video. The described tool was released in February 2016. In these two years, this tool was downloaded more than 5,200 times and the GIS.XL is the most downloaded tool from the HydroOffice package.
The second direction in the HydroOffice development is the Stagraph project. It is a general purpose tool for efficient data handling. If you did not know about the Stagraph, I encourage you to visit the stagraph.com. This is a very powerful tool that can save you a lot of time (at work with your data). The following video shows you how simple it can be to create impressive data visualizations in a few simple steps.
In addition to the presented features, the Stagraph includes functions for data import from variable sources or functions for data cleaning, wrangling and combining. Since 2.0 version, the program is released as a freemium, so most of the features are available in the Free edition. Do not hesitate to look at this project too.
